A Forest Bathing Journey with Meditation, Breathwork & Cacao
at Minsteracres Retreat Centre.

Step softly into the woodland and return to yourself.

Join Laura of Oak & Air, Certified Nature Therapy Guide and Breathwork Practitioner, for a gently held, nature-immersive experience designed to support your wellbeing.

This is an invitation to slow your pace, soften your gaze, and remember your place within the living world.

Held within the peaceful grounds of Minsteracres Retreat Centre, our journey unfolds through semi-ancient woodland.

With spacious guidance and moments of quiet reflection, you’ll be encouraged to awaken your senses — noticing light through leaves, birdsong overhead, the earth steady beneath your feet.

As we wander, we’ll pause for simple breathwork practices to regulate the nervous system and deepen your connection to the present moment.

Forest bathing is not a hike, nor a destination to reach. It is a mindful meander — an opportunity to attune to nature’s rhythms and, in doing so, restore your own.

Towards the close of our time together, we’ll gather in stillness for a guided nature meditation, followed by a cup of ceremonial cacao.

This gentle ritual invites warmth, presence and a quiet opening of the senses, bringing our shared experience to a grounded and nourishing close.

The benefits of forest bathing may include:

Reduced stress and lowered cortisol levels

Improved mood and emotional balance

Enhanced clarity, focus and creativity

Renewed energy and vitality

Deeper, more restful sleep

A soothed and balanced nervous system

Support for heart health and immune function

A sense of connection — to nature, to self, and to community.

Whether you feel deeply at home in nature or are simply longing for space to breathe, this experience welcomes you exactly as you are. No prior experience is needed, and the pace is gentle and accessible.

Please note: Forest bathing is about immersing yourself in the atmosphere of the woodland. There is no swimming involved — simply time to walk slowly, breathe deeply, and be.

Welcome to a restorative Oak & Air experience — where breath, body and the natural world meet in harmony.

Together, we’ll slow down and reconnect with ourselves through intentional breath and grounded awareness. Rooted in nature and inspired by the changing seasons, this session invites you to realign your energy, clear what no longer serves you, and create space for renewal.

You’ll step into a calm, supportive environment and be gently guided through accessible breathwork and meditation practices designed to quiet a busy mind and awaken body awareness. From here, we’ll move into a deeper Conscious Connected Breathwork journey accompanied by carefully curated music — offering space for release, insight, emotional processing or profound relaxation.

We’ll close the session in circle, allowing time for reflection and integration over herbal tea and nourishing snacks — leaving you feeling centred, supported and restored.

The Benefits of Conscious Connected Breathwork

Research continues to highlight the powerful impact of breathwork on both physical and emotional wellbeing. Regular practice has been associated with:

  • Supporting healthy blood pressure and immune function

  • Improving lung capacity and respiratory efficiency

  • Reducing stress and physical tension

  • Enhancing sleep quality and overall wellbeing

  • Supporting emotional release and nervous system regulation

Beyond the individual benefits, conscious breathing strengthens our awareness and deepens our connection — to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us. By cultivating presence through the breath, we build resilience, clarity and a greater sense of grounded confidence in our daily lives.

At Oak & Air, breathwork is more than a practice — it’s a pathway back to balance, connection and embodied living.
